What is Sleep Apnoea?

Sleep apnoea is a sleep disorder in which breathing repeatedly stops and starts. These breathing pauses can last anywhere between 10 to 20 seconds and can have happen 5-100 times an hour. The lack of oxygen during an episode of sleep apnoea can jolt you awake (though you often won’t remember). These disruptions to your natural sleep rhythm can mean less quality deep sleep and can affect your productivity the next day.
